Lexi Henigman is an editor and director.

Her first documentary feature film The Candidates premiered at DOC NYC and was in competition at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and IFF Boston. The film had its broadcast debut on FUSE and is distributed educationally on Kanopy. 

She is also the editor of feature documentary Right Over the Edge, about the search for the critically endangered North Pacific right whale, and has edited many short documentaries including Kinderland and The Unknown Sea. 

Lexi was an Associate Producer and Assistant Editor on feature documentary Left on Purpose (2015 audience award winner at Doc NYC and Woodstock) and Assistant Editor on When I Walk (2015 News and Documentary Emmy award, POV, Sundance, Best Canadian Feature at HotDocs).

In addition to documentary, Lexi has edited many Editorial, Branded, Fashion, Commercial, VR, and Narrative pieces. Credits include Topic, Food Network, Disney, Conde Nast, and Sony. 

She is a Film & Television Production graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
